Trimester 1 reflection

here's my reflection of the year

Stretch your wallet:

Stretch your wallet was a fun class in budgeting and cooking it was well taught and easy to learn it was fun learning something from scratch and something that can really help in after-school

What's in the news:

What's in the news is an English and science class there were some cool activities including how to detect fake news and catch up on what's in the news (no pun intended) currently. We studied our immune system and how effective masks actually are.

Making A Difference:

Making A Difference was an R.E and Social Studies class where we studied Saints, Jesus and SJ (Social Justice) issues. At the start of the 2nd term, we started a Unit Standard on an SJ issue, I chose affordable housing and am about to submit it for 4 credits

College production:

My Impact project is the College Production, I got one of the leading roles (Fergus 'Fungus' Fergusson we have been putting loads of hours into this production putting in after school hours and some lunchtimes

Friday wellbeing is honestly a bit of a waste of time it took away precious amounts of time from our 1-hour production that all main characters have about 100 lines so yeah

Game Of Life PMI

 The Game of Life PMI

The Game of Life was the Careers expo yesterday there were loads of fun and gave plenty of opportunities

Positive:

Gave you more ideas and made you think differently about some things

Minus:

it was to short so didn't get to do as much as I would have likes

Interesting:

Way more perspective on some jobs we hadn't considered

What I am proud of this year

This year I am proud of the easstle writing test I think I put a neat little twist on that.

I am also proud of the news article I wrote in what's in the news.

I am also glad about the progress I made with understanding different types of income in stretch your wallet.

Overall I think this was a good start to the year and I'd like to keep going that way.

Happily Ever Laughter 3

This week we had some people come and give us some advice and the play is starting to come together. most of the feedback was about the energy we were giving. Mr Sparks kept telling us before they gave us their feedback we were like the walking dead. later in the day, a bulb caught on fire after it had blown.
